Dental exams and cleanings are important!!

A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by Juan C. Diaz, DDS, and our dental team at your initial visit.  At regular check-up exams, our team will include the following:

• Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs)
• Oral cancer screening
• Examination of tooth decay
• Examination of existing restorations

Professional dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis) are usually performed by our Registered Dental Hygienists.  Your cleaning appointment will include a dental exam and the following:

• Removal of calculus (tartar)
• Removal of plaque
